NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu had a phone conversation on the refugee swap as Greece sent first wave from the Lesbos island to Turkey's Dikili coast.

Stoltenberg and Davutoğlu discussed fight against irregular migration in the Aegean Sea, fight against terror and the recent developments in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Afghanistan, according to Prime Ministry sources.

Stoltenberg also expressed condolences for those who have lost their lives after the deadly terror attacks in Turkey and underscored NATO’s support to Turkey’s efforts within the scene of anti-terror fight.
