Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's meeting with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden has kicked off on the sidelines of Washington Nuclear Security Summit.
Footage showed Biden entered the meeting room and gave a “warm welcome” to Turkish President, within the crucial meeting hosting Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioğlu, Presidency spokesperson İbrahim Kalın, National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Chief Hakan Fidan and Washington Ambassador Serdar Kılıç.
Joe Biden’s office has said the vice president would host Erdoğan for a meeting on March 31, while it was announced that President Obama was expected to have “informal” talks with Erdoğan.
