"March and Meeting for Peace" was organised in Bodrum on September 1st World Peace Day. The organisation started with the press conference in Peace Square then ended with a concert of fellowship songs.

“Peace at Home Peace in the World” meeting was organised by Labour and Democracy Coalition.

Turkey Chambers of Engineers and Architects Union Bodrum Office Representative Şehabettin Doğan stated that, “Our country is living in a war zone since last year. Everyday we wake up to new hearthaches, new explosions, new terrorist attacks and here we shout ‘Enough!’. We say no to war peace now. We want peace in our country, in the region and in the whole world.”

After Doğan’s statement, peace words were written and paintings drawn, symbolising the peace, on a white sheet carried along the march. The organisation has ended with Praktise Music Collective’s concert.
